Pregnancy & Motherhood

What is Pregnancy Massage?

Pregnancy massage is remedial massage therapy adapted specifically for the changing needs of your body through pregnancy and beyond. As your body carries additional weight, shifts its centre of gravity, and adjusts posture to accommodate your growing baby, new areas of tension and strain emerge — often in the lower back, hips, shoulders and neck. Pregnancy massage works with these changes, not against them, using techniques and positioning that are safe and comfortable at every stage.

All pregnancy sessions are performed side-lying, fully supported with pillows and bolsters, so you can relax completely without pressure on your belly or discomfort lying flat.

Why Have Pregnancy Massage?

Pregnancy asks a lot of your body. Massage offers a dedicated space to be cared for physically while your body does the work of growing new life — easing physical strain, calming your nervous system, and helping you feel more at home in a body that's changing week to week.
